Zabaldika to Zariquiegui

Lots of "Z" names in the Basque country.  Today's walk was the story of two walks.  Through the busy, noisy city of Pamplona (running of the bulls fame).  Then instantly into open farm country, with little Spanish villages scattered here and there.  We are at a simple but nice place called Posada Ardogi in Ziraquiegui.  Just above us is what seems to be an infinite line of wind turbins. We should pass by the base of these first thing in the morning. Although our meal last evening was delicious, it was not enough to sustain walking pilgrims.  We found good calories for lunch. The "super" versions of burgers over here have a good size beef patty, ham, cheese, fried egg, sweet onion, tomato, lettuce, and drip with flavorful grease.

The narrow streets of Pamplona
Layer upon layer.
A comfortable stay.

I hope you are getting lots of rest along the way and making great memories. I love the pictures you are posting! Kim Wise
